National Sales Manager

The purpose of this position is as follows:
  • To drive the achievement of the sales plan by the management of the Inside Sales team
  • To coach and train the Inside Sales team in selling skills and otherwise develop a sales culture within the department
  • To constantly seek to simplify and improve internal processes and procedures
  • To measure and manage reduction in the levels of RMA's (returned merchandise authorizations)
  • Manage, train, and motivate Sales, Service and Administrative staff to provide 'best practice' levels of customer service
  • As a senior member of the Sales and Marketing management team, work with other elements of the department to set and achieve the annual sales plan
The essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
  • Daily commercial management within the department including pricing and returns with set authorization levels
  • Supervise, motivate and evaluate office based sales, service and admin staff to ensure optimum performance and adherence to company policy and procedures
  • Supervise major quotations to ensure maximum conversion rates
  • Determining work procedures and expediting work flow
  • Work closely with the field sales team in managing major accounts and sales lead referral
  • Coordinate activities with marketing team to monitor and track the effectiveness of marketing programs in generating sales opportunities
Experience/Qualifications Required:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5 years related in-bound sales and/or customer service management experience
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • High level of computer literacy particularly Excel with Access an advantage

Retail Business Development Manager

The purpose of this position is to:
  • To drive profitable corporate sales and margin targets within the retail sector
  • Achieve corporate sales and margin targets within the retail sector
  • Expand the retail customer base
  • Increase sales to existing retail accounts
  • Manage major account relationships
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
  • Develop and manage own sales pipeline
  • Customer presentations at a senior level
  • Liaise with the marketing function in developing promotional tools and programs for the hospitality distribution market
  • Project/manage new product launch and other programs
  • Contribute to the commercial program for the sector such as pricing and stock requirements
  • Development and delivery of an annual account sales plans
Experience/Qualifications Required:
  • 7-10 years proven track record of developing sales revenue streams within the retail sector
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Knowledge/experience of store fixture or in-store electronics sectors an advantage
  • Ability to plan
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office

Design Engineer

The purpose of this job is to:
  • To fulfill all the engineering requirements of the company including but not limited to:
  • Design, production, value and quality engineering
  • Ensure consistency of existing products
  • Work with Sales team on new product development
  • Work with extended UK based design team on local and corporate projects
  • Report to senior management team on engineering function
The key tasks of the job is to:
  • Design new products and components, development of existing designs and equipment
  • Redesign of existing products and components to improve functionality and/or reduce cost
  • Production of photo-realistic renderings for business development
  • Project management of custom design orders
  • Quality assessments on inwards and outwards goods as required
  • Production of installation layouts and/or instructions
  • Participation in resolving production/product engineering issues
  • Site installations
  • Creation of new BOM's or alterations to existing BOM's
  • Maintain company patents, trademarks, etc
  • Maintain database of engineering drawing vault
  • Advise senior management on design and engineering function
  • Work with Sales team on new products from design to conception
Experience/Qualifications required:
  • Mechanical Engineering and/or Design Bachelors degree, ideally in Industrial Design or Mechanical Engineering
  • Ability to liaise with production and sales colleagues as well as customers, contractors, and site engineers
  • Autocad
  • Good Solidworks experience.
  • Rendering experience with 3D Max, Alias, or Rhino or similar
  • Good PC skills (MS Office, Excel, MS Project)
  • Ability to manage concept to production
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to write clear and unambiguous test reports and supporting documentation
  • Proven background in troubleshooting and improving existing designs
  • Experience of using models, prototypes, and tooling design

Electronics Product Manager

The purpose of this position is:
  • To provide leadership for our electronics program by coordinating sales, technical support, supply and manufacturing for the electronics product line
  • Lead the product development program by specifying future product evolutions and managing the product development cycle
  • Work with other elements of the marketing team to provide marketing support for the electronics product range
  • Contribute to achieving the sales plan for electronics by assisting with sales presentations
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
  • To provide in depth product knowledge to assist the sales team in customer presentations and sales projects
  • To support the electronics technical support and production team in-house and in the field where necessary
  • Act as a liaison with our OEM partners on product development and technical issues
  • Forecast demand and communicate with Supply Chain and Manufacturing to ensure appropriate stock holding/supply
Experience/Qualifications Required:
  • BS/MS Computer Systems, Computer/Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • 5-6 years experience with an IT organization which is involved in design, development and selling of software or hardware products
  • Experience of leading a team comprising of technical and support staff for product development
  • Awareness of SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle)
