The 886 Facility Post is a robust, heavy-duty safety post and retractable belt barrier stanchion designed for indoor and outdoor use. The eco-friendly base is made with recycled rubber that can withstand vehicles driving over it without damage. The rubber base provides a firm grip and stability when placed on any surface, and the retractable belt barrier will help guide customers, vehicles, pedestrians, and guests through parking structures, warehouse stores, valet stands, warehouses, or any industrial area.
The 886 Facility Post comes with the choice of two webbing options, two webbing lengths, and two post color options.

The retractable belt safety barrier and durable post make the 886 ideal for various spaces such as warehouses, maintenance areas, parking structures, or warehouse stores. It can also be used for multiple functions, such as blocking off restricted or dangerous areas or where heavy-duty machinery is used, guiding vehicles through a parking structure, or guiding pedestrians.
The retractable belt on the 886 is made of military-grade fabric that is 0.89mm thick and 2” wide, making it one of the thickest and most durable webbings on the market. A thicker webbing prevents sagging when stretching the webbing across a longer area. All Tensabarrier cassettes also come with our standard four-point anti-tamper webbing connectivity, which prevents accidental release of the webbing from the cassette. This ensures that you won’t pull too far and detach the ribbon from the housing.
Safety is vital with Tensabarrier®; along with the Anti-Tamper webbing, the 886 also features the Tensabarrier SlowRetract™ braking system. Our webbing retracts 2.5 seconds slower than its closest competitor. This prevents the belt from whipping back and striking a guest, making the 886 one of the safest guest guidance solutions on the market today.
Setup is quick and easy; screw the post into the base once in its desired location. Once you do this will all your stanchions, you can pull the webbing out and connect to any Tensabarrier post or a Tensabarrier Wall Mount Bracket. You can disconnect the post from the base for easier transport and storage when not in use.
