The Tensabarrier® Replacement Cassette is perfect for replacing a broken cassette or changing the webbing without purchasing a new stanchion post or wall unit. This is the easiest and most cost-effective way to replace a broken cassette or if you need to change the webbing design but do not want to replace your retractable belt barrier stanchion post or retractable belt barrier wall mounted unit. Each Tensabarrier® tape cassette has a unique braking system for slower webbing retraction, making them the safest retractable belts on the market. It comes standard with an impact-resistant, sealed housing that can withstand years of wear and tear.

Installation

Installation is quick and easy, unscrew and remove the broken cassette from your current stanchion post and insert the new tape cassette into your existing Tensabarrier® 889 Advance, 890 Slimline Post, or 896 Wall Mounted Retractable Barrier.

Each Tensabarrier® Cassette is made of military-grade fabric that is 0.89mm thick and 2″ wide, making it one of the thickest and most durable webbings on the market. A thicker webbing prevents sagging when stretching the webbing across a larger area. All Tensabarrier cassettes also come with our standard four-point anti-tamper webbing connectivity, which prevents accidental release of the webbing from the cassette. This ensures you won’t pull too far and detach the ribbon from the housing.

Safety is vital with Tensabarrier®; along with the Anti-Tamper webbing, the Replacement Cassette also features the Tensabarrier SlowRetract™ braking system. Our webbing retracts 2.5 seconds slower than its closest competitor.
